Salvage Hunters star Drew Pritchard took a significant gamble when he embarked on the restoration of a five-storey Georgian townhouse, a property he had once described as plagued with “bodged repairs” and shoddily layered in white gloss paint, dubbing it as the “worst house in the best location”.
Despite facing numerous obstacles throughout this demanding renovation journey, Pritchard ultimately witnessed the light at the end of an arduous tunnel.
After enduring a rigorous revamp which forced him to auction off several beloved items to counter escalating costs, he has triumphantly unveiled the stunning transformation.
Pritchard proudly flaunted the remarkable outcome on his Stories, treating followers to the mesmerising reveal of an elegantly styled room boasting immaculate finishes. The well-appointed space highlighted a luxurious marble-esque table surrounded by sumptuous leather chairs.
This exciting revelation followed previous teasers where he hinted at “unpacking” earlier in the week, showcasing a curated selection of artworks accompanied by a chair which fans implore he must “never sell”.

And, just earlier in the month, he disclosed a “space that keeps giving”, featuring the bare bones of the room.
He detailed in his post how the original pine board flooring within the primary principal room underwent careful re-nailing.
Before embarking on his ambitious renovation project in Bath, Somerset, Drew was well aware of the challenges that lay ahead with the dilapidated property. Yet, he pressed on, unaware of the financial burden it would become.

Don’t miss… [NEWS] [UPDATE]
In just 10 months, Drew had exhausted the £200,000 he had set aside for the renovation.
With no options for a bridging loan and maxed-out credit cards, the TV personality was forced to consider other avenues. This led him to part with some of his most valued antiques to keep the restoration on track.
In the latest episode of Salvage Hunters: Georgian House Restoration, Drew confessed that the project has been a source of immense stress. “There have been sleepless nights and a lot of worry,” he revealed.

“I can’t back out now, but I don’t have a magic money tree.”
The journey of revamping the Grade I-listed building, which Drew purchased in 2022 for £1.5 million, is being documented in a five-part series on Quest. The property, initially split into five flats in the 1970s, had suffered from several substandard renovations over the years.
Drew’s efforts to restore the mansion have been fraught with unforeseen obstacles, leading to spiralling costs. Reports suggest an extra £200,000 is needed to finish the job.
