Transfer deadline day is a chaotic time for everyone involved, not least the families of the footballers.

Social media influencer Jessica Beaumont has provided a detailed look into packing up her life with her fiance, Owen Dale, in less than 24 hours as he secured a late move in the winter window.

Dale joined on loan from on deadline day, having found first-team opportunities scarce since helping the Us to promotion from last season.

The forward earned just four starts before making the 136-mile journey to Greater Manchester. As the 26-year-old focused on his new club, Beaumont took the reins and transformed their home life.

Sharing their full day of packing up home in Oxford and starting up anew in Wigan, Beaumont began her TikTok video by saying: “I’m going to show you how professional footballers and their families move their whole lives in 24 hours.

“When my fiance moved clubs this transfer window it was on transfer deadline day and the most commonly asked question is about accommodation and how we are going to find living arrangements.

“Until now on each move we have lived in a hotel for the first couple of weeks until we find accommodation and then we move into there.

“But this time, since it’s a loan and we are so settled in our house, I stayed there and basically waited for Premier Relocation to arrive.”

She explained that she had previously arranged entire relocations by herself while Dale headed to a new city and started training, but now professional movers have been tasked with the job at hand.

Beaumont took a large portion of the furniture from their home in Oxford to a new pad in Wigan, but kept some behind due to space and because they may return at the end of the season.

“As you can see there is still a lot of furniture in this house,” she shared along with video clips of their packed-up home. “Because basically what we have done is split up our furniture between the two houses so that we can still go back and stay in our own home. It is our boy’s favourite place to be.”

Dale, who began his career at Crewe before joining Blackpool and then Wigan, has come off the bench in the first two games of his career at the League One side.

He featured in the 2-1 fourth-round defeat to outfit , before Wigan went down 2-0 to promotion-chasing , as he eyes a big end to the campaign after uprooting a seventh time to join a new club.
