‘s behind the scenes secrets have been revealed on a thread after a user asked what it was like to appear on the show.
In response another user revealed they had stayed in one of the featured properties and the owner had told them all about his experience – including being chased down by a producer after they went to the pub.
“I wasn’t on the show but I stayed in one of the places on Four in a Bed and he was telling us how the contestants were not allowed to socialise outside of the filming hours.
“He was saying how they all snuck out to the pub and they were chased down by a producer who had to sit with them and make sure they didn’t discuss each others properties,” they wrote.
“He also told us that they had no idea where they were going and who they were staying with and that the show was filmed over two weeks,” they said.

“There was a bit of cheating in his series but I can’t really say much about it other than those who cheated were s****** over come payment day,” they continued.
“Speaking of payment day that apparently took 12 hours to film! He was also saying that they had to keep doing multiple takes for things like being shown to the bedroom and meeting at the front of the b&b. That’s why sometimes it looks so forced and unnatural”.
Another user chimed in to share the experience of a B&B from their town that took part. The establishment won the contest and the user has a friend who worked there.
“He was oddly secretive about it, but from what I gleaned, the producers aren’t that hands on. The weirdest thing is that most (if not all) social interaction has to be on camera,” they said. The b******g and backstabbing during the final roundtable is all legit,” they claimed.
