Eagle-eyed EastEnders fans believe they have spotted a blunder just minutes into the live 40th anniversary special.

On Thursday (February 20), fans up and down the country tuned in for the special episode which pushed stars to the limits for the live episode.

Fans watched in horror as Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) was forced to give birth as the Queen Vic was reduced to ashes.

Meanwhile, Martin Fowler (James Bye) proposed to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) while medics worked to save his legs trapped underneath a metal beam.

But fans were left utterly distracted when Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was seen giving an inspirational speech to Denise Fox (Diane Parish) outside the pub.

It was at this point that fans believe the blonde bombshell accidentally slipped up live on the show as she advised her which man to start dating.

She told her: “Risks ain’t just for the young, that’s my advice. The point is don’t be scared, go for it, for whatever you really want and trust that if it goes t**s up that you’ll survive because we always do.

“Failing that, why not [suggests tossing a coin] because why not? Life’s random and there’s no guarantees so why not toss a coin.”

It was at this point that fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their suspicions online. One user asked: “Didd Linda just say t*t on LIVE TV #scandal #.”

Another echoed: “Linda said ‘t**s’ #” as another chuckled: “Obsessede with Linda saying t**s up #easternders #eelive.”
