LA is on the horizon and fans are eager to know when the spin-off is going to premiere?
The NBC drama Suits was a hit when it first aired from 2011 to 2019, chronicling the personal and professional lives of litigator Harvey Specter (portrayed by Gabriel Macht) and college dropout-turned-colleague Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams).
The popularity of Suits skyrocketed once again when it landed on in 2023, becoming the streaming platform’s most-watched show, outperforming Wednesday and Stranger Things.
Naturally, this renewed popularity sparked discussions about the future of Suits, leading to the creation of its first spin-off, Suits LA.
Suits LA release date
The release date for Suits LA was initially announced in 2023, with production commencing in November of the previous year.
It has now been revealed that Suits LA will begin its 13-episode run on Sunday, February 23, on NBC in the US.
Regrettably, there has been no news yet on when UK fans will be able to enjoy the drama.
However, given that Suits made its way to UK in 2023, followed by iPlayer, it’s highly likely that Suits LA will also find its way across the pond in the near future.

Suits LA cast
The cast of Suits LA includes actor Stephen Amell, who will take the lead as former federal prosecutor-turned-lawyer Ted Black, who began his practice representing influential clients in the City of Angels.
Amell is best known for his role as Oliver Queen, also known as the Green Arrow, in The CW’s DC Comics series Arrow.
The series boasts an exciting ensemble cast, including Josh McDermitt from The Walking Dead as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis from The L Word as Erica Rollins, and Bryan Greenberg from The Mindy Project as Rick Dodsen.
Notably, Narcos star Matt Letscher is set to play Ted’s father, and newcomer Carson A Egan will portray Ted’s brother Eddie Black.
In an exciting twist, original Suits star Gabriel Macht will reprise his iconic role as Harvey Specter in a three-episode guest arc, although he won’t be a permanent fixture in the show.

Suits LA plot
The plot of Suits LA follows Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, as he navigates the challenges of his Los Angeles law firm.
The official synopsis reads: “Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.
“His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other, while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.
“All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
A newly released trailer also hints at tension between Erica and Rick as they’re appointed co-heads of the entertainment division, much to their dismay.
