Rod Stewart’s global tour kicks off in March
has sent fans into meltdown following another announcement about his upcoming global tour.
Believed to be among his last major international gigs, Sir Rod’s One Last Time tour will see him take to the stage in several different countries across the world.
Beginning in March, the 80-year-old will perform in the US, Europe and South America, with his first stop being Austin, Texas.
Since announcing the tour, the Maggie May hitmaker has continued to add new dates for his fans in both Europe and South America.
Now, Sir Rod will be playing three shows in Argentina and revealed he will be heading to Colombia and Uruguay in October.
South American fans were delighted by the news, flooding the announcement with messages such as “thank you for coming back here” and “we can’t wait”.

Another wrote: “I’ll be there. It’s a dream for me to see you. I love you!”
A third agreed: “I’m seeing you again! A dream come true, waiting for you. October come quickly!!!”
However, not everyone was pleased as they expressed their devastation that no tour dates had been announced in their countries.
Fans inundated the post with pleas, begging the iconic musician to perform in countries such as Peru and Brazil.
“WHAT ABOUT PERU,” asked one fan as another wrote: “PERUUUUUUUU PLSSSS.”
The comments were often accompanied by crying emojis or featured the name of the country repeated several times. With Sir Rod announcing new dates weekly, there is still hope for these fans.

Sir Rod’s fans have been begging him to add tour dates in countries including Brazil and Peru
In November 2024, Sir Rod announced that “this will be the end of large-scale world tours” for him, but insisted he has “no desire to retire”.
He continued: “I love what I do, and I do what I love. I’m fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.”
In the same statement, the Baby Jane singer suggested he would be seeking “smaller venues and more intimacy” for future performances.
“But then again, I may not,” he cryptically added.
