Teddi Mellencamp, the star of has disclosed that she is facing urgent surgery after doctors found tumours in her brain. The reality TV personality took to just two hours ago to share the alarming update with her followers, coming shortly after she encouraged her fans to get checked for skin melanomas due to her own skin cancer diagnosis last year.
In a stark message on her main 43 year old Teddi detailed her ordeal, writing: “For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalisation.”
She continued, revealing the extent of her condition: “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumours on my brain, which they believed have been growing for at least 6 months. Two of the tumours will be surgically removed today – the remaining smaller tumours will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”
Expressing her gratitude, she concluded: “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health. Thank you everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey,” accompanied by a heart emoji.
Teddi Mellencamp, a star of the Real Housewives franchise, has received an outpouring of support from her celebrity friends after revealing she is in hospital. Emily Simpson, a fellow Real Housewife, commented on Teddi’s post: “Praying for your health my friend.”

Teddi later took to her Stories to share more about her situation.
She posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed, hooked up to various medical devices, and wrote: “Counting down the minutes until my babies get here,” adding that she had faith in her surgeons and believed everything would be okay. In a lighter moment, Teddi filmed herself getting her hair shaved off by a friend in her hospital room, joking about her new look.
“I’m going to have this look on my bucket list! ” she quipped, before adding: “My best look! ” Alongside the video, she referenced infamous 2007 incident with the caption: “All I need is an umbrella.”
She then hopped back into bed, jokingly declaring a sibling rivalry to see who could rock the short hairdo better. “I hate to break it to my brother, but once I’m allowed to wash my hair and it’s not all spiky I think I’ve taken you for a run for your money, Hud. I’ll see you tomorrow and we’ll see who did it better, who wore it best. I mean, these add an extra nice flair,” she chuckled, gesturing towards the medical equipment attached to her.
