The monarch is a keen letter writer, and it is believed that he kept up his personal communications with the US President before he was re-elected in November.
This has reportedly delighted Mr Trump and as they look forward to the correspondence.
Buckingham Palace confirmed last year that he wrote privately to the President – then running for office – after he survived an assassination attempt.

Mr Trump said at the time: “I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well.”
He added: “I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad.”
Mr Trump, who proudly owns a photo album containing pictures of him with the late Queen, also said: “We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk.”
