The 47-year-old opened up about the realities of ageing and joked that one isn’t truly old until they reach “about 80” in today’s world. However, despite her youthful spirit, she admits to experiencing changes in her body that are impossible to overlook.
During a heartfelt conversation on The Katie Price Show podcast with her sister Sophie, the mum of five revealed: “I’m not sleeping at all. I think I need to go to the doctor to have a blood test.”
She also confessed to not having visited the gym yet in 2025, which could be contributing to her restless nights. However, she can’t shake the feeling that something more serious might be at play.
Expressing her worries, she said: “This is why I want to go to the doctor because I actually think something’s going on.”

With the average UK woman entering menopause between the ages of 45 and 55, Katie is keeping a close eye on her symptoms and shared: “I’m still having my periods regularly.
“But when I’m due to have my periods, the bed is wet with cold sweat. And now I’m not sleeping at night, I normally have really good sleep, so there’s something going on,” reports .
It’s this suspicion that has Katie considering a comprehensive medical check-up, wondering if she might be on the brink of an early menopause: “Maybe I am having an early menopause. I don’t know how it all works, because I’m still having my periods.”
Nutrition experts have highlighted the power of eating right during menopause, cautioning that a well-rounded plate is essential for easing symptoms and maintaining bone density.

Katie admitted to struggling to keep meals wholesome. Her other half, JJ Slater, tends to shy away from catering to the whole family due to his bachelor habits.
She confessed: “But when he does do something, it’s always good. He does nice salmon with avocado and whatever bits on toast.”
However, her weakness is the temptation of indulgent goodies: “What doesn’t help is Maltesers, Milky Ways, Wispas, crisps… cups of tea and [a healthy diet] goes out of the window.”
