A controversial Islamic preacher who claimed it’s better to be a paedophile or murderer than to miss prayers will be hosting a series of talks in the UK this month.
Mohamed Hoblos has been banned from all Schengen countries, which does not include the UK, and was recently stopped from entering Germany and Holland by border forces.
The preacher from Australia is now set to speak at events in UK cities this month, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Middlesbrough.
The decision to allow Hoblos to enter the country and speak has been met with furious backlash, sparking the Home Office to begin drawing up plans to block him from entering due to his threat to public safety, the Telegraph reports.

Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, has called for the preacher to be “issued a lifetime ban” from the UK. He said: “People expressing these vile views should not be allowed into the UK.”
Concern surrounded the preacher following a video lecture in 2017. He told his Muslim followers that anyone who misses one prayer is worse than a murderer, rapist, terrorist, or even a paedophile. He added that, in the eyes of Allah, paedophiles and murderers who never miss a prayer are better than good citizens who miss one.
The controversial claims were part of a two-minute speech where he emphasised the importance of prayer.
In the clip, he says: “This person, one person who commits all these sins on a daily basis – but he prays – is better in the eyes of Allah than the one who doesn’t commit any of these sins, but doesn’t pray.”
He continued: “Any person who misses one Salah (prayer) for no reason – you are worse than a murderer, you are worse than a rapist, you are worse than a terrorist, you are worse than a paedophile in the eyes of Allah.”

Hoblos went viral on social media last after a clip of him circulated talking about the hypocrisy of those who love Allah, but do not follow the Islamic way of life.
In the video, he says: “Everyone claims they love the prophet but nobody wants his Sunnah (teachings).
“What do you mean his Sunnah? Eat on the floor? Eat with your fingers? Grow a beard? Live simple lives?
“Ew, brother ew. What’s that? What’s that brother?”
