During the latest episode of The One Show, host Lauren Laverne experienced a minor blunder when she mistakenly suggested that guest Kerry Godliman had left her acting career behind.
Alongside Alex Jones, the duo welcomed Rochelle Humes, Kerry Godliman, and Marian Keyes to discuss their new projects.
When conversation swiveled to Kerry’s current comedy tour, which she both wrote and stars in, Lauren enquired about Kerry’s transition from acting to comedy, asking, “Comedy wasn’t your first love, it was acting first for you. How did you switch?”
Kerry promptly set the record straight by declaring, “I never did switch, I still do acting.”
Quickly moving on, Lauren rephrased, “But how did you transition into comedy? ” to which Kerry responded with insights into her early career struggles and sporadic roles.
