and are said to have left a waitress shocked after heading out on a double date less than 48 hours before this year’s . Kelce ended up on the losing team on Sunday evening as were defeated 40-22 by Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs had been aiming to become the first team to win the Super Bowl in three consecutive seasons after landing glory in 2023 and 2024.
But they were outplayed from start to finish by the Eagles as pop star Swift looked on from the stands.
Kelce and Swift linked up with the tight end’s Chiefs team-mate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany for a double date on Friday night.
The group were spotted at French restaurant Lilette on Magazine Street in New Orleans, with the city hosting this year’s Super Bowl.
And, according to the , their waitress was left shocked that the Chiefs players were out so close to the Super Bowl.
A source told the publication that all four of them were in a “tremendously good mood” and had been “anticipating a different outcome and result in the game.” The source also explained that Swift was “super chatty” and in an “amazing and fun mood.”

Sunday proved to be a day to forget for Kelce and Swift as the Chiefs fell short after the music star had been booed by NFL fans at the Caesars Superdome.
Swift was even , who was also in attendance, as the US president took to his Truth Social platform and wrote: “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed.”
He then penned: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

And on Wednesday, Kelce admitted he could call time on his American Football career as he explained on his and his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast: “I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now I’m just kicking everything down the road. I’m kicking every can I can down the road.
“I’m not making any crazy decisions [yet]. Right now the biggest thing is just being there for my team-mates and being there for my coaches, understanding there’s a lot that goes into this thing.”
The 35-year-old added: “The fact that we keep going to these AFC Championships and these Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games than everybody else in the entire league. That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body.”
