Top Gear Stig drives Wheeler Dealers’ host Mike Brewer’s ‘slowest car’

famous Stig has got behind the wheel of presenter Mike Brewer’s “slowest car” as the pair came together for a special TV shoot.

Ben Collins, the between 2003 and 2010, popped into Mike’s One Automotive base in Leamington Spa.

As part of the special TV package, Ben got behind the wheel of a plucky Peugeot 108 which Miles described as the “slowest car”

Mike laughed that the model was “out of breath” after being put through its paces by the pro driver.

He added that the car had gone “faster than it can drive”, suggesting Ben had left nothing on the table during his special test run.

He explained: “We’ve had Mr Ben Collins The Stig in today. He went and drove the slowest car that we got here, a little Peugeot 108. Well, he drives it faster than it can drive. It’s out of breath because it had the Stig driving it.”

Mike’s wife Michelle quickly joked that the price of the Peugeot had now “gone up” as a result of the quick test drive.

Experts at One Automotive stressed that Ben’s footage behind the wheel is set to air on his YouTube channel shortly.

The announcement came as part of another update to fans with a smiley Ben snapped next to Mike, wife Michelle and his business partner James.

A photo uploaded on social media seemed to show the Stig leaving a motivational message for the One Automotive team on their company whiteboard.

Scribbled writing in black pen was written: “Hazard lights on, redline it, drop the clutch, drive it like you f***ing stole it. The Stig.”

The identity behind Top Gear’s famous Stig was left a mystery up until 2010 with F1 star Michael Schumacher once jokingly revealed as the character on screen.

However, ahead of the release of his autobiography ‘The Man in the White Suit’.

Perry McCarthy played the original Stig but left the show in 2002. recently before the show ended.
