The White Lotus, the critically acclaimed black comedy drama, is set to return for its third season on HBO and Sky. The new season will be set in Thailand and will introduce a fresh cast of affluent guests.
The show, created by Mike White, continues to follow the lives of holidaymakers at a prestigious international hotel chain, as well as the employees at the fictional resort. Originally planned as a six-part limited series, the show’s success led to a second season and now a third, with a fourth already in the pipeline.
Over the years, The White Lotus has garnered numerous awards, including 15 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.

When is The White Lotus season 3 out?
The third season was delayed due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, but it is now set to premiere on Sunday, February 16 at 9pm on HBO.
UK fans can catch the show on NOW TV or Sky Atlantic from 2am on Monday, February 17.
How many episodes in The White Lotus season 3?
The third season consists of eight episodes, with the titles of the first three instalments already released.
The titles of the episodes are ‘Same Spirits, New Forms’, ‘Special Treatments’ and ‘The Meaning of Dreams’.

Who is in the cast for The White Lotus season 3?
The cast of The White Lotus season 3 was announced upon the renewal of the third season. In April 2023, it was reported that Natasha Rothwell would be returning to her role as Belinda Lindsey.
Leslie Bibb was cast as Kate in January 2024, alongside Jason Isaacs as Timothy Ratliff, Michelle Monaghan as Jaclyn Lemon, Parker Posey as Victoria Ratliff, Dom Hetrakul in a recurring role, Tayme Thapthimthong as Gaitok and Carrie Coon as Laurie.
Christian Friedel and Morgana O’Reilly were also cast in recurring roles, with Lek Patravadi as Sritala, Shalini Peiris in a recurring role, Walton Goggins as Rick Hatchett, Sarah Catherine Hook as Piper Ratliff, Sam Nivola as Lochlan Ratliff, Patrick Schwarzenegger as Saxton Ratliff, Aimee Lou Wood as Chelsea and Nicholas Duvernay in a recurring role.
Arnas Fedaravičius from The Last Kingdom has joined the cast for the season, replacing Miloš Biković with Julian Kostov. In February 2024, Scott Glenn and Lalisa Manobal were added to the cast, with Manobal playing Mook.
Charlotte Le Bon joined the cast in March, replacing Francesca Corney due to a re-casting.

Where was The White Lotus season 3 filmed?
Initially set to be shot in Japan, the third season of the hit series instead found its backdrop in Thailand, with scenes captured in Bangkok, Phuket, and Koh Samui.
Despite initial location scouting in Honshu, Japan’s main island, the production team pivoted to Thailand following an enticing offer from a local production company.
Reports suggest a “huge tax incentive” swayed the decision, as Japan did not extend any such financial perks.
The White Lotus season 3 airs on Sunday, February 16 at 9pm on HBO. Fans in the UK can watch on NOW TV or Sky Atlantic from 2am on Monday, February 17.
