Getting your steps in even when the weather is awful or your motivation is just low for the day is still possible! On those days, this stepper could help maintain your fitness with ease. Designed to mimic walking up a staircase, this gadget can easily stow away out of sight, whether in a closet or under a desk, plus it has two removable handlebars to help keep your balance — especially useful for those with mobility issues. Reviewers say this particular one is great for working out their butt, hips and legs. Plus, unlike other steppers, this one has a slight twist that swivels your hips, helping improve posture with some side-to-side action.

If you need a way to take more steps, this is an excellent one — mainly because it’s on sale now at 36% off list price! Usually hovering around $89, you can grab it now for only $69.99 for a limited time. This is a great way to get active at home!

While walking pads have boomed in popularity (HuffPost readers are obsessed with this one), this small stair stepper helps you achieve the same thing but goes a little further: It has an LCD screen that displays calories burned, step count, time elapsed and more. The stair stepper is about 50 inches tall when it’s at its maximum height, and comes with resistance settings to make your steps steeper and deeper.

Unlike smaller models, this one has two handlebars to keep your balance and maintain posture during workouts. Those bars can be taken out, too, by detaching it from its base to stow it away.

“It is sturdy and I never feel like i’m going to lose my balance not using the handles, making me engage my core,” says one reviewer. “Great for hopping on and off if you want to burn some quick calories if you have free time in between tasks/chores. I’ve used this thing at least an hour a day since I got it a week ago and I could not be happier. I know my knees and ankles are thanking me.”

Purchased one for my 82 yr old mom. Worked great for overall mobility, balance and cardio. So good that I purchased a second one for my senior uncle out of state. He needed a little help with assembling as the handlebar screws have little to no play in them. (I suggest watching the assembly video and starting all the screws before tightening) This adds to the overall stability and the assembly time was still under an hour. Twisting motion took a little getting used to (both said they could feel it in their hips and knees for the first week). Only con is no tension adjustment. Great news is my Mom doesn’t need her cane as much and can go up several flights of stairs with no problem. 3 months and going. Amazing stepper with small footprint.” — Don

“Highly recommended if you’re someone tight on space and this provides a surprising amount of resistance. It came nearly assembled and I was working out with it the next 10 minutes after opening the box. Was looking for something exactly like this! It is sturdy and I never feel like i’m going to lose my balance not using the handles, making me engage my core. Great for hopping on and off if you want to burn some quick calories if you have free time in between tasks/chores. I know my knees and ankles are thanking me It is a fantastic value for the standard selling price but an absolute no brainer if you can get it on sale” — R. Santos

“I absolutely love this stepper!! I’m not sure why some people say it’s a low quality stepper. 🤷♀️It’s extremely sturdy and heavy duty. It goes together quite quickly and easily. The instructions are easy to read and to the point. I just wished I had purchased this sooner. I’ve used it for a few days now and can’t believe what an awesome quad and glute workout I get. I’m in great shape and also a runner and I have to say I’m absolutely done after 15 min..the limit is a 15 min workout, then cool off time is 30 min. Anyone who can go longer than 15 min, is extremely fit! The only negative about it is if you want to restart the step counter, they say you have to take the battery out. I found another option that works..hold down the start button for about 5 seconds and it starts over with a clear screen wala easy fix! Overall I give this amazing stepper 5+ stars ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you can’t go wrong with this one! Happy stepping!✌️🌞” — Lori Darling

This is by far the best stepper for the money… I use it for 20 minute workouts 3-5 times a week.. had it over a year now, still going strong… I weigh just over 200 and tall for a woman so it is built pretty sturdy. I love the digital read out and how it will stop the timer when you take a quick breather … this way you can jump back on and it starts where you left off… I love the tension adjustment… I keep it on lower tension so that you don’t burn out too quickly… I feel it in my calves, thighs, butt and even abs… keep your back straight and suck in your tummy to get great results… It’s so easily to move around the house… and for the money.. if I get 2 years out of this.. .that’s awesome… can’t get a gym workout for that money… Add a set of kettles or weights and you have your own gym…” — Blondie

I’m a senior with balance issues, so this stepper with a handlebar is perfect for me. The non-adjustable hydraulics are quite stiff, but I am only depressing the pedals about a half inch as if I’m walking. Because I’m not doing a full up-down step, the counter/timer messes up, which I don’t care about. So I just watch the clock. I don’t have the strength in my legs to use the full stepping motion. The handlebar allows me to hold on with one hand while I swing my free arm as if I’m walking. I switch sides throughout my 30 minute workout. I am soooo glad I got this! It’s wonderfully small so doesn’t take up my whole living room, and weather for walking is no longer an issue.” — Punkie
