presenter urged Alex Norris to “go and check” his messages following the recent WhatsApp scandal.
Andrew Gwynne was sacked as health minister over offensive WhatsApp messages and has been replaced with Ashley Dalton. In one message, Gwynne joked about hoping a non-Labour voting pensioner would die before the election.
He also made antisemitic slights and “jokes” about a constituent being “mown down” by a truck.
Oliver Ryan was then sacked by the Labour Party after they began investigating the leaked messages.
During Wednesday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, presenters Ed and were joined by Mr Norris, the Labour MP for Nottingham North and Kimberley and Minister for Local Growth and Building Safety.

The MP appeared on the show to discuss the government’s plans to build 1.5 million homes by 2029.
However, conversation quickly turned to the recent WhatsApp scandal as Ed questioned how confident Mr Norris is that there are no messages of that nature in chats that he is a part of.
He responded: “Er, I’m very confident that that is the case. But the thing that matters the most is if I failed that test or if anyone fails that test, then we’re going to be held accountable and we won’t be ministers in this government.”
Ed then questioned whether Mr Norris has checked through all of his WhatsApp messages from the last 10 years, asking: “You are confident nobody’s posted posts like that?”

The Labour minister admitted he is unable to look at every post on his Whatsapp as Ed interjected: “If you’re in a WhatsApp group and the post is there, then you’re responsible, aren’t you? Don’t you think you should go and check?”
The 41-year-old disagreed, replying: “From my perspective, maybe I’ve muted some of the groups that they’ve put me in in the past.”
Ed advised the politician to “take it seriously”, saying: “Go and check because at the moment, if you were in a group and there’s a message there then it’s your responsibility.”
He added: “We will leave you to go and check your WhatsApp messages.”
