Gordon Ramsay ‘cut off Gino D’Acampo years ago’ after raising concerns over his behaviour

has reportedly distanced himself from Gino D’Acampo amidst allegations of “unacceptable behaviour.”

The renowned chef, aged 48, faces accusations of sexual misconduct following an ITV News investigation, which revealed “dozens” of individuals alleging “unacceptable”, “distressing”, and “horrendous” conduct. Gino has vehemently denied all claims, calling them “deeply upsetting”.

Sources suggest that ITV has interviewed “over 40 people” as part of its inquiry. These individuals witnessed or were subjected to Gino’s alleged inappropriate and intimidating actions. Gordon, who once shared the screen with Gino on Road Trip and considered him a friend, is now believed to be ready to sever ties in light of the scandal.

Insiders claim that although their friendship had flourished in recent years, the Scottish chef was “horrified” upon learning about Gino’s supposed behaviour. It is said that communication between Gino and Gordon has ceased as the famously outspoken chef seeks to put distance between them.

“Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it,” an informant disclosed to MailOnline.

They further stated: “He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, whom he absolutely adores. He felt it was disgusting. He wanted to change those ways, but it led to difficulties between them.”

“Gordon found a lot of unacceptable behaviour going on; he saw things he didn’t think were okay, so he spoke up. That was that friendship over.”

Insiders claim the Ramsay family is now “throwing Gino under the bus.”

Tackling the accusations head-on, Gino told ITV News, “I have been told by ITN News that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years.

“I have never been made aware of these matters before, and the allegations are denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.”

“Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, but I have also continuously received support from executives at the highest levels and was featured on prime-time programmes during the time it is alleged I behaved incorrectly. As a dedicated father and husband who has worked with over 1,500 individuals across approximately 80 productions throughout my cherished career, such issues are of grave importance to me. The insinuation of impropriety on my part is devastatingly distressing.”

The renowned television chef, known for appearing on ITV’s Family Fortunes and Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible, confronts claims dating back over a decade. Sources indicate people were intimidated by the potential repercussions of speaking out about their supposed interactions with the celebrity chef.

A woman, known as Hannah, to protect her identity, has come forward with allegations that she was subjected to lewd comments by Gino D’Acampo in 2011. According to Hannah, D’Acampo made a remark stating he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter.”

She claims that the comment was met with laughter from crew members, but she witnessed “shock” and “horror” in their reactions, leaving her feeling “very, very, very small.”

In an interview with ITV News Correspondent Sejal Karia, Hannah stated: “I definitely saw it as some kind of power play. The very act of what he said was aggressive. He did not think that was an inappropriate thing to say to me.”

In response to the allegations, Gino D’Acampo’s legal representatives issued a statement: “This allegation from almost 15 years ago has never, until now via a media request for comment, been raised or put to Mr D’Acampo. He does not recall it, nor accept that this happened. Mr D’Acampo is horrified to be accused of ‘power play’ and an ‘aggressive act’. He emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations.”
