Donald Trump finds one royal ‘irresistible’ and is ‘key’ to repairing US-UK relations

Donald Trump finds a senior member of the Royal Family who could be key to bolstering US-UK relations “irresistible”, a source has claimed.

Since taking office last month, has shaken the political world with a raft of more than 50 , including ones pardoning January 6 rioters, tackling DEI, and ordering tariffs.

The tariffs include a 25 percent tariff on foreign steel and aluminium, as well as more on imports from Canada, Mexico and China, with Trump suggesting that the EU could be next.

However, the reports that he indicated that a deal could be “worked out” with the UK, and now it has been suggested that one particular royal could help forge stronger ties across the pond.

, who Trump previously described as a “good man”, may not vote in UK elections, but he’s reportedly “happy to play his role” when asked by the Government.

A palace source told the Telegraph: “It’s important that we’re not involved in day-to-day politics, but when the time is right and there’s an ask for support from His Majesty’s Government, the Prince is happy to play his role.”

A second source, meanwhile, claimed that Trump responded well to the “banter” that he shared with the and is “very fond” of him.

Another source, who reportedly has knowledge of their meetings, added that the President turns to and William when he wants to learn about the goings-on in Britain.

It would appear that William could even use his “very popular” position to help strengthen US-UK ties, according to another source, who said: “He is very popular on both sides of the pond, and that will be irresistible to Trump.”
