TV star has been tipped to leave his presenting duties on in 2025.

The presenter has been hosting the show since 2009, cementing him as a fan favourite after winning over legions of viewers with his quick wit and sense of humour.

But the star could be set to leave the show, with bookies odds saying 2025 could be his last year.

Betideas.com has put Bradley at 4/6 to depart the show anytime this year after increased uncertainty regarding his future in the past few weeks and recent criticism from viewers of his presenting skills.

Bradley’s son, Barney, is among the favourites at 5/1 to replace him should he leave the programme, putting him only behind Stephen Mulhern (2/1) in the betting.

Roman Kemp (also 5/1) and Alexander Armstrong (8/1) are the other main contenders to assume the role.

Lee Astley, spokesperson for betideas.com, said: “Bradley Walsh’s 16-year stint on The Chase could be coming to an end soon, with the presenter odds-on at 4/6 to leave the show anytime in 2025, and viewers seemingly fed up with his recent hosting duties.

“Should Walsh depart the programme, the most eye-catching name in the betting to replace him is his son Barney, who is 5/1 to step into his father’s shoes in the ITV series.

“Stephen Mulhern is the market favourite at 2/1 to become the show’s next presenter, with Roman Kemp (5/1) also in the running.”

These odds come after Bradley opened up about if he would ever leave the show, telling the Daily Mail he would stay on the show until viewers stopped tuning in.

He said: “Until people say they’ve had enough and start switching off I’ll do it. We’ve had such an extraordinary time together. It’s the best job in the world.”

It comes as he’s faced backlash for his comments to a contestant during a recent episode, when he was seen speaking to Sarah, a miniature artist.

He told her: “Oh well, you look big enough to me,” to which she laughed and responded: “I’m quite short.” The cheeky comment didn’t go down well with viewers, as one said: What’s with the fat shaming, Brad? Hmmm? #TheChase.” Someone else wrote: “Indeed. I switched off in total disgust. #thechase” Another said: “Just catching up bit harsh on the lady by Bradley.”
