“However this new direction is not something I am comfortable with as I feel the corners I was being asked to cut would compromise the quality of my work and would erode my integrity, as well as that of the show.”
The duo suggested there had been no disagreement or feud with Edd simply leaving to pursue his own projects.

However, Edd suggested that Mike was “not his favourite person” at the moment and admitted they had also “disagreed” over the show’s future.
