Popular TV presenter shared a touching family update with her fans as her youngest daughter, Belle, 2, embarked on a new journey of independence. The toddler is the youngest of the star’s brood and Stacey became emotional as she waved her off on her first day of nursery.
Posting to , the mum-of-five shared a sweet video showing Belle in her newborn days, with older sister Rose showering her in love. The clip then showed the two girls looking older in matching outfits as they were ready for a busy day of playing and learning.
Stacey, 35, emotionally captioned the social media post. She wrote: “Belle’s first day at nursery [crying emoji] I am not ok [crying emoji]. Belle ran into nursery & didn’t look back.
“She had the best day, she didn’t mention us once. I’m convinced that Belle is so confident & content because she knows she has the best friend in the world by her side, always looking out for her & always there when she needs her.”
She continued: “Sisters are so special. And Rose you are the most incredible big sister Belle could have wished for. From the moment she was born. Happy first day at nursery Belle, the world is yours.”
The TV personality shot to fame in 2009 after her memorable audition on The X Factor, where she impressed judges including Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh. She finished the competition in an impressive third place.
Stacey later revealed though that she very nearly did not appear on the ITV talent show at all.
Recalling what happened, the star said: “I don’t know if it was one in the morning or whenever it was, it was really late at night.

“I was the last person to be seen and the judges were so tired, they had seen thousands of people all day.
“I think what they were saying was that they wanted to end the night, that was it and go home and London was done.
But one of the producers really pushed for them to see me and just wait to see me which changed my life.”
