has not been afraid to name his current rivals on Mount Rushmore, but felt that still has work to do to crack the top four.
Mount Rushmore – a means of describing the four greatest competitors in the history of a sport – has always been a contentious topic in darts.
stands alone at the top of the list in the eyes of many, with 16 titles to his name, with Littler agreeing that his status is undeniable.
He also named a pair of active players on his Mount Rushmore, including the man he defeated in the 2025 Alexandra Palace final, .
Littler rounded out his top four with Raymond van Barneveld, currently in the twilight of his career ranked world No. 34, and Adrian Lewis who is on an indefinite hiatus from the sport.
“As a fan, obviously, Phil Taylor is at the top,” Littler said on the when asked for his darts Mount Rushmore.
“Michael van Gerwen is two. Raymond van Barneveld is three. I’ll say Adrian Lewis. From what I’ve watched.”

Humphries, despite becoming world champion in 2024, still has more work to do to be heralded in such a way, according to Littler.
Many had doubted that Taylor’s record number of world titles would ever be matched, before Littler arrived at the oche and picked up his first Ally Pally win at the age of 18.
Having gone one step further than the previous year’s runner-up place, beating Van Gerwen on the biggest stage last month, Littler himself has since played down such chances and .
“I won’t be playing at 50,” he confirmed. “I could wake up tomorrow, the fire’s gone out of my belly, and I wanna retire. So maybe I can’t achieve it.”
Littler only became an adult on January 21, but enjoyed a low-key affair on the night he turned 18, due to his commitments on the professional tour.
Instead, the teenager took his friends bowling and enjoyed half-priced drinks down the lanes.
“Very good, just went bowling with my friends,” he explained. Just played a few games of bowling, a few games of pool and then went home. I pre-planned it. Obviously, it was a Tuesday, so it was a half-priced drinks.
“A week before, I went in to the ten pin and I said, can we get a birthday at 8 o’clock? And then there was like two-end lanes. So I said, I want the end two lanes for 8pm. They sorted it out. We were out of the way.”
