Kid Rock stormed off stage in a tantrum during a surprise appearance at Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar, JBJ’s, as part of celebrations for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday.
The country star, 54, became infuriated when the crowd failed to clap in time to his rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Proud Mary.
In clips shared on social media, Kid Rock, real name Robert James Ritchie, can be seen abruptly cutting the music and shouting: “F*** them.”
He then angrily addressed the audience: “If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna work.”
Following Rock’s warning, the crowd began to clap to the beat of the song, prompting the band to start up again and Rock to carry on singing.

However, when the clapping began to subside, Rock raged: “You know what, f*** y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone.”
He stormed off stage to the astonishment and confusion of the crowd. David, 63, who was playing the keyboard, looked just as confused.
It comes after Kid Rock was one of the star performers at Donald Trump’s victory rally on the eve of his inauguration last month.
The loyal Trump supporter was joined by the likes of The Village People, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jason Aldean and Lee Greenwood at Washington DC’s Capital One Arena on January 19.
The following day, Rock stunned views by during an on-air interview.
Rock appeared on the programme to discuss how he would be celebrating Trump’s return to the White House. However, things took a turn when he asked what the BBC host’s plans for the day included.
Caitriona replied: “Well, I’m standing on a rooftop in these very, very chilly conditions and we’ll be on air for 11 or 12 hours so I don’t think I’ll have anywhere near as fun a day as you have planned for yourself there. It sounds like you got the better deal here, indeed.”
The All Summer Long singer replied, while smoking a cigar: “I mean I can’t see you right now so I don’t know what you look like.”
The journalist laughed that she was wearing “full-on ski gear” due to the cold conditions in the capital city. Rock then shocked viewers when he said: “I love to go skiing, you sound sexy actually. Do you want to go with me?”
Caitriona, 44, looked gobsmacked but managed to remain professional, answering: “Well, we won’t get into that right here. We’re doing no skiing today, we’ve got a broadcasting to do. But Kid Rock, thank you so much for joining us here on BBC News. Enjoy your day.”
