‘s has come under fire from viewers after running a poll asking if comedian was right to
During the final dates of his Better Late Than Never Again! tour, the comedian reportedly became frustrated when two disruptive attendees persistently heckled him.
The situation escalated as one man repeatedly interrupted with Peter’s famous “garlic bread” catchphrase, while another woman was told to leave after shouting “we love you”.
As she was removed by security, Peter is said to have made a harsh joke about her size, likening her to ‘s Lisa Riley. He reportedly shouted back: “Go on, off you go Lisa Riley.”
Viewers deemed the segment it not “newsworthy” and took to X to vent. “Hecklers no, but if you’re continually interrupting the show to the detriment of others, yes. As per normal, a common sense approach isn’t news worthy!” one fumed.

“Don’t try to stir it with Kay he’s a national treasure – pathetic attempt,” another said. “Seriously, do you need a poll for this. Come on, GMB news,” a third queried.
A fourth agreed with his actions writing: “I’d throw people out for talking continually or loudly through gigs, too, especially where it’s not a particularly loud band/artist. If you don’t want to listen & you want a chat, f*** off to the pub.”
A fifth concurred commenting: “Tickets are expensive, we pay to see the act not to listen to stupid audience members. Good on Peter.”
Meanwhile a sixth pointed out: “Kay could of ripped them apart but I suspect they both would have carried on heckling. Both drunk. Goodbye.”
The poll eventually showed that 73% of viewers sided with Peter with only 23% thinking he was wrong to eject the hecklers.
