At , was met with a wave of boos from Philadelphia Eagles fans while supporting her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
The -winning singer was caught on camera in her VIP seat at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. She appeared on the big screen alongside Ice Spice and Este Haim and received an overwhelming reaction from the crowd.
NFL reporter Ari Meirov shared a video of the loud boos on X/Twitter and wrote: “Taylor Swift got showed on the big screen and got booed aggressively.”
Despite the hostile atmosphere, Swift appeared unfazed by the negative attention, and fans worked out her bewildered response seems to have been: “What’s going on?”
Other celebrities who watched Sunday’s game included Anne Hathaway, Lionel Messi, Paul Rudd, and President .

, who made an appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, defended Swift on social media. She tweeted: “I love you @taylorswift 13 don’t listen to those boos!!!”
Trump also posted on his Truth Social platform about the crowd booing Swift. He shared a post from an account called Libs of which read: “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed. The world is healing!”
Swifties were quick to defend their idol, with one fan declaring: “I don’t care who wins or loses today, my biggest hope is that everyone has fun and Taylor Swift ruins the day of men who hate her.”
Another expressed indignation, remarking: “That stadium cheered for Trump but booed Taylor Swift? Just abolish the whole sport.”

A further supporter criticised the crowd’s behaviour, commenting: “Booing Taylor Swift as if she’s playing on the field against ‘your’ team, even though she’s just sitting there looking pretty, is loser behaviour.”
Despite the jeers, Taylor subtly showed support for Kelce through her fashion choices.
She wore the Chiefs’ colours with a stylish white double-breasted blazer, a crisp white shirt, towering thigh-high white leather boots, paired with blue shorts and a striking red handbag.
However, it was the Philadelphia Eagles who were victorious with a score of 40 to the Chiefs’ 22.
