This Morning fans are convinced that a former Masterchef champion might soon be revealed as Gino D’Acampo’s possible “replacement”.
The whispers about a new chef came tfollowing allegations against Gino for “sexually inappropriate” conduct. ITV News have uncovered reports suggesting the celebrity chef is facing numerous accusations describing his behaviour as “unacceptable”, “distressing” and “horrendous” throughout more than a decade.
Gino, aged 48, has refuted allegations and “firmly denied” all claims in an official statement, clarifying how much he finds the accusations “deeply upsetting”.
With ITV News confirming they have launched an investigation, social media has been awash with gossip about who could fill the TV chef’s role on the This Morning programme.
The Italian cook has been a chef on the programme since 2009, however, observant viewers evidentally have picked up on his recent non-appearances, leading them to believe that someone else has already taken over his role.

Over on X previously known as Twitter, viewers unanimously voiced their thoughts that icon Vito Coppola, the 2024 Celebrity MasterChef victor, had already quietly stepped in for Gino, reports .
One viewer posed the question: “Are they quietly replacing Gino with Vito? #thismorning,” while another chimed in with a similar observation: “Looks like #ThisMorning have replaced Gino..”
While a third tweeted: “Gino’s been replaced already then #thismorning.” Meanwhile, another viewer simply inquired about the Italian chef’s whereabouts with the comment: “Where’s Gino D’Acampo this morning”.

After Vito won hearts on MasterChef, ITV swiftly recruited him, leading to his popularity surging on a This Morning cooking segment in October, where he delighted viewers with his Nona’s cherished .
Vito shared that pasta ala norma is more than just a dish; it’s a family tradition savored every Sunday by his mother back home. Before gracing the This Morning set, a somewhat anxious Vito confessed to his followers: “This is the first time for me cooking live, I will go with the flow.”
The response on social media was overwhelmingly positive, as audiences lavished praise on Vito’s effervescent studio presence, with comments pouring in like: “I’m only here for Vito,” and calls for him to become a fixture on the show: “Please make Vito a regular. He brings such joy and innocent passion.”
Another user yearned for more, posting: “I could listen to Vito talk all day.”

A former colleague of Gino reportedly decided to come clean following the disclosures around Greg Wallace in November 2024, per The Sun’s insights.
An insider previously revealed to The Sun: “She worked [with Gino] for five years. She has come forward after being spurred on by the Gregg Wallace scandal and the comment he made about his accusers being middle-class women of a certain age.”
At the time, ITV said: “We can’t really comment on anything specific as we have duty of care to any complainant that comes forward.”
