We are now two rounds into the 2025 Championship and it’s in firm control as they aim for a third straight title. Their 32-18 win in on Sunday made it a maximum 10 points from their first two games, and they are already the only side capable of a Grand Slam.

But England’s title hopes are very much alive after Elliot Daly’s late try gave them . The win eased the pressure on coach Steve Borthwick – although it was a very different story for one of his counterparts, Warren Gatland.

lost 22-15 to Italy in Rome, making it 14 international defeats in a row. There is now huge question marks over whether the New Zealander will still be in charge when Ireland visit Cardiff on February 22.

England call up Feyi-Waboso

England have called Immanuel Feyi-Waboso into their Six Nations squad.

Medics will assess the Exeter wing’s shoulder before deciding if he is available for selection against Scotland. The 22-year-old has been recovering for a dislocated shoulder, via a non-surgical rehab plan.

“Hopefully he will be available soon,” said Borthwick. “He’s running well, rehabbing well. So now, we’ll get him in for one of our medics to see him, at the start of this week, when we are back in camp.”

Scotland reeling from freak injury blow

Scotland coach Gregor Townsend has been left sweating on the fitness of winger Darcy Graham after he taken to hospital with concussion during the 32-18 defeat to Ireland.

After 21 minutes, Graham colided with team-mate Finn Russell and received lengthy treatment before being carried off. Russell also went off but later passed a HIA.

“Darcy is in hospital and that’s never good,” said Townsend. “We are still waiting for scans. I believe there are no issues around his neck. But it’s more just seeing where the concussion has come from. I’m just hoping there are no broken bones around the face or skull area.”

The winger was treated on the Murrayfield pitch for around 10 minutes before being taken off on a buggy with his head and neck in a brace.
