is currently streaming a comedy series, originally a classic BBC show, which has quickly climbed the ranks of the streaming platform’s charts worldwide. As it stands, the series has made its way into the top 10 shows being watched globally after made it available in two dozen regions recently.
CBS comedy Ghosts, according to Flix Patrol, is a top 10 show in 212 nations. The sitcom, which began as a production, first graced screens in 2019, courtesy of the creators of Horrible Histories and Yonderland.
The series enjoyed a five-season run from 2019 to 2023, concluding with a festive special. Ghosts tells the story of Alison Cooper (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike Cooper (Kiell Smith-Bynoe), who inherit a large, rundown mansion they plan to transform into a bustling bed and breakfast.
Unbeknownst to them, the vast estate is haunted by a myriad of ghosts from those who have died there over the centuries. After an incident, Alison begins to see and interact with the ghosts as they attempt to coexist in their new shared home.

The American version of Ghosts features iZombie’s Rose McIver as Samantha ‘Sam’ Arondekar, taking on the equivalent role to Alison, while Never Have I Ever star Utkarsh Ambudkar plays Jayanth ‘Jay’ Arondekar, stepping into Mike’s shoes.
The US adaptation, much like its British counterpart, boasts a large ensemble cast including Devan Chandler Long, Brandon Scott Jones, Rebecca Wisocky, Danielle Pinnock, Sheila Carrasco, Richie Moriarty and Asher Grodman.
Despite the original Ghosts series concluding, there’s no sign of the US version slowing down. The original Ghosts series consists of 34 episodes, but the US version has already aired four seasons with a total of 50 episodes, surpassing its predecessor in a similar fashion to how The Office US outdid Ricky Gervais’ original series.

Ghosts US holds a 97 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, slightly edging out the British edition which has a 96 percent freshness stamp of approval.
