fans have accused the judges of “overmarking” a contestant and paving the way for their victory.
The controversy erupted tonight after the remaining seven celebrities took to the ice again on the show.
Former footballer Anton Ferdinand and his professional skating partner Annette Dytr earned a score of 34 after all four judges awarded them 8.5.
Meanwhile, former Love Island star Chris Taylor and his replacement partner Robin Johnstone received the slightly lower score of 32.
Many fans took to social media to express their frustration over what they saw as unfair scoring. One viewer wrote on X: “Chris getting lower artistic marks than Anton when Anton’s feedback was full of complaints about his posture is truly baffling. It’s never been more obvious than this series that they’ve already decided who they want to go all the way.”

Dancing on Ice judges have been accused of overmarking Anton Ferdinand
Another fan questioned: “Soooo why were Chris’ scores lower than miserable guts Anton???”
A third added: “In my opinion, the skate scoring 8 across the board was much better than the one scoring 8.5 across the board… I’m getting favourite vibes.”
The controversy took another turn as Chris Taylor was eliminated from the competition in this week’s episode.
After facing Anton Ferdinand in the skate-off, Chris and Robin Johnstone failed to secure enough votes from the judges to stay in the competition.
Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean, and Ashley Banjo all opted to save Anton and Annette.

Viewers felt that Chris Taylor deserved more points
When asked head judge Jayne Torvill who she would have saved, Jayne admitted: “I would have saved Anton and Annette, but I hope that Chris keeps skating because he has beautiful skating…”
Chris cheekily responded: “You could have lied on the last one.”
Holly praised Chris for his efforts, saying: “You’ve been brilliant and I feel like you’ve loved this, even though your partnership hasn’t been long, it’s been enjoyable.”
Chris jokingly replied: “Yeah, brief encounter, but I’m used to that. To be honest, I shouldn’t have Feng shui-ed my caravan today…” Holly interjected, telling him to “Feng shui across the rink.”
Chris’s elimination comes after his original pro partner, Vanessa Bauer, was forced to pull out of the show due to an injury. This meant he had to pair up with Robin Johnstone last minute.
The duo had only 24 hours to train together before their first live performance, during which they suffered a mid-routine fall.
