Tensions flared on as hosts Raj Bisram and Charles Hanson found themselves in a spat during a previous episode. The episode, which marked the third leg of their Welsh tour, saw the pair scouring local shops for hidden treasures.
Charles started the episode with a lead, having amassed £493.56, while Raj trailed behind with £443.06. As they journeyed to their next destination, Charles criticised Raj’s driving posture, claiming he sat “quite far forward”.
Raj took this as a jibe at his “short legs”, prompting Charles to suggest he could get shoes with bigger soles or even “get some stilts”.
An irritated Raj retorted: “This is a campervan, why don’t you just get in the back and have a lie down?” Charles responded with concern over Raj’s driving, leading to Raj firing back: “It’s bad enough when you’re driving! “

Narrator Tim Wonnacott had to intervene, assuring viewers: “Don’t be fooled, they love each other really”, before later adding: “Now, now children. Settle down”, reports .
In another episode, Raj left crestfallen when a Royal item failed to fetch a high price at auction on the show’s spin-off, Antiques Road Trip. Irita Marriott and Raj Bisram journeyed to Stamford, Lincolnshire, in search of bargain items that could potentially bring in substantial profits at auction.
Raj was initially optimistic when he believed he had stumbled upon a Royal collection at Stratton Oakford Antiques. The 67 year old co-founder of Bentley’s Fine Art and Antiques Auction House in Cranbrook, Kent, found a “set of medals that all belonged to the same person” along with an impressive amount of paperwork.

Dealer Raj Bisram couldnt hide his shock when a set of medals connected to the Duchess of Cambridges hometown fetched a mere £32 at auction, plunging below half the price he initially paid. After confidently purchasing them for £80 due to their Royal links, Raj was left perplexed by the disappointing sale.
His dismay was palpable as he uttered a solitary “no” upon failing to cash in on the Navy memorabilia.
