How to unclog your sink with vinegar and baking soda 

To try this hack on your own home drains, you will need baking soda, vinegar, hot water and boiling water.

First, pour the baking soda down the drain you wish to unclog; the amount you need is roughly one cup or 250g, but it can be adjusted.

The plumbing experts said: “The amount of baking soda you need should be adjusted based on the size and the length of your drain.”

Next pour hot water mixed with vinegar into the drain. You will see bubbles appear as soon as the vinegar comes into contact with the baking soda.

Wait at least 15 minutes, and then pour boiling hot water down the drain. The experts explained: “This will unclog your drain without corroding it. Be careful when running the boiling water as it may splash on your skin. Slowly pour it down your sink drain and use protection to avoid burning your skin.”

Wait for your drain to cool down before using the sink, shower, bathtub or toilet again. It is recommended to wait around 30 minutes.
