An Italian city has been labelled as the best February getaway destination by a major travel company.
The northern city of is ranked by TUI Musement as the number one destination for those looking to get away this month, ahead of several more famous city break locations.
La Citta della Mole was one of four Italian cities in the top 10, beating , and to claim the top spot.
The city, best known for its historic football team and the birth of Lavazza coffee, has plenty to offer potential visitors, from the panoramic views atop the Mole Antonelliana to its wide-open green spaces along the River Po.
Nestled at the foot of the Alps, the city is a popular base location for a trip to the many Italian ski resorts less than 90 minutes away by car. It’s also often overlooked by tourists from the UK and the US.
