almost lost a set of darts to his YouTuber friend ‘Angry Ginge’ in a which has gone viral online.

Even the world’s best players have a tough time keeping up with Littler, who has shot up to second in the rankings after picking up his first title last month. had to be at his very best to pip him in a last-leg decider on the opening night in Belfast earlier this week.

Amazingly, ‘Angry Ginge’ came within a whisker of following Van Gerwen’s lead. The pair were playing a best-of-five-legs set on video, and were tied at two apiece.

‘Angry Ginge’, who is a keen player and won the Red Dragon MODUS Super Series Influencer Darts Showdown last year, hit a treble in his first visit in the decider. He was also first down to a finish, leaving one of Littler’s favourites – 170 – but failed to take it out.

Littler was left with 46 but missed two darts at tops, meaning the match would go to the YouTuber if he took out 96. After hitting a big five and a treble-17, ‘Angry Ginge’ was left with double-18 to take it.

He paused and said to Littler: “Hang on a minute, I’ve got a match dart to beat you here. Let’s f***ing chill out a minute here. This is like Gerwyn Price where I walk over and see the trophy first.”

‘Angry Ginge’ eventually threw his third dart and it landed just below the double. Littler then stepped up and nailed tops with his first attempt. With Littler laughing, ‘Angry Ginge’ said: “F***ing cheating b*****d. F***’s sake. Oh my god.”

As part of the same livestream, the pair – both fans – sat down to watch the Red Devils beat Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday night.

Things looked bleak for them when Bobby De Cordova-Reid put the Foxes ahead just before half-time. But Joshua Zirkzee pulled one back with just over 20 minutes to play, and Harry Maguire popped up with a big header in stoppage time, which would have been disallowed for offside if VAR had been in play.

Littler and ‘Angry Ginge’ celebrated the winner wildly before chanting: “We’ve seen it all, we’ve won the lot, we’re Man United and we’re never going to stop.”
