Trouble in paradise

The former rugby union player is married to Alice Dallaglio, formerly Alice Corbett, an ex-model and art student. The two were together for years before splitting in 2003. However, they reconciled and married two years later in 2005.

Over the years, both Alice and Dallaglio have been involved in scandals and been accused of cheating. When the pair split up in 2003, it was revealed that Alice allegedly had an affair with Dallaglio’s friend.

However, they put these things behind them and have stayed together for nearly three decades. The couple have three kids – two daughters, Ella and Josie, and a son, Enzo.

Drug scandals and an ‘alleged’ brothel visit

On 24 May 1999, following a sting operation by the News of the World, Dallaglio faced severe allegations which suggested that he had used and dealt hard drugs including cocaine and ecstasy. As the controversy snowballed, he resigned as England captain.

It was also reported that Dallaglio had boasted about taking drugs at a party during the British and Irish Lions’ tour to South Africa back in 1997. Though Dallaglio categorically denied the allegations, he was fined £15,000 plus costs by the RFU (Rugby Football Union) for the incident.

More than 20 years later, another shocking incident came up. In 2020, it was reported that Dallaglio spent £10,000 in a London brothel that offered “cocaine and high-class hookers”.

The former England captain’s name came up when the police checked payments at the whorehouse during a raid. Dallaglio was interviewed by the police in the presence of a solicitor in connection with this revelation. However, no action was taken against Dallaglio over this incident.
