A popular is expanding across with 16 new branches set to open this year.
, which first arrived in the UK in 2020, has gained a loyal following for its .
The chain originally launched in in 2003 and has since grown rapidly, with more than 200 locations across the .
reports that Slim Chickens now plans to add new sites in several regions, including , , the northeast, the southeast, , and .
The expansion comes as part of an ambitious plan to open two new every month throughout the year.

Slim Chickens currently operates 58 locations across the UK, with its most recent opening in Bridgend, Wales.
The first two new branches are set to open in London’s Leicester Square and Wembley Park this month.
And to mark the occasion, the chain is giving away 10,000 “Golden Tickets,” offering customers the chance to win free chicken for a year.
The menu features a wide range of fried chicken options, including tenders, boneless bites, chicken sandwiches, and wraps.

Customers can also choose from 14 different dipping sauces, such as buffalo, honey mustard, cayenne ranch, Korean BBQ, and a limited-time “Unknown” sauce.
The restaurant also serves American-style milkshakes in various flavours.
Slim Chickens is not the only fried chicken chain growing in the UK. Popeyes, another US fast-food brand, recently announced plans to open 45 new UK restaurants this year.
Slim Chickens is often compared to KFC, with many customers saying it is “better” than the famous brand.
Wesley G wrote on TripAdvisor: “A better fast food outlet than KFC. Tenders are tasty and a large range of dips.
“Expensive for fast food, but fast and efficient with friendly helpful staff.”
garethj821 added: “Forget KFC this place is excellent. Loved it! Fresh chicken tenders, fresh chicken wings, cracking fresh fries and great dips. Dips here are better than Popeyes. Staff were spot on. Great milkshake”.
Slim Chickens’ expansion will bring its total number of UK locations to more than 70 by the end of the year.
