Adam Brody gave a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Leighton Meester, during a recent acceptance speech.
Brody took home the award for best actor in a comedy series for his role as Noah in Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This” at the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards on Feb. 7.
After he was announced as the winner, he kissed Meester and made his way to the stage to deliver a touching speech.
He initially thanked the cast, including co-star Kristen Bell, series creator Erin Foster, the crew and his team, before he ended with a sweet sentiment about his wife of more than 10 years.
“My darling, darling, darling wife, Leighton. Thank you,” he said. “Thank you for sharing this life with me and this journey with me. Thank you for our family. I love you with all my heart. Thank you so much.”
After Brody won the award, the couple shared a romantic kiss before the actor pulled his wife into a tight embrace.
Fans reacted to the moment between the notoriously private couple in the comment section. Digital creator Erin McGoff wrote, “Everyone wants this,” as a nod to the Netflix hit.
In a similar vein, one fan added, “Everybody NEEDS this.”
“No acting goin on there..that’s true love,” another Instagram user wrote.
“They are absolute goals,” a comment read. “I love their love and support of each other.”
Brody and Meester have been together for more than a decade, but have remained relatively private about their relationship.
The couple are parents to two children, including daughter Arlo, who was born in August 2015, and a son who was born in 2020, though the couple have not yet shared his name publicly.
During a September 2024 appearance on “Today With Hoda & Jenna,” Brody gave rare comments about his marriage after he was asked by Hoda Kotb about the “magic” of his relationship with Meester.
“Pick someone good. Be lucky and be in love with someone who is great and then just listen to them,” he explained. “If you’re with someone great, you’re on third base.”
