The UK is in for heavy snow in the coming days, according to one online forecaster.
Radar produced by WX Charts shows a band of snow smothering the majority of Wales, excluding the far south west, on February 10.
The snow is also expected to hit areas of northern England, possibly including Manchester and Newcastle, as well as the Scottish Borders and parts of Aberdeenshire.
It is important to note that the , the UK’s national forecaster, does predict snow early next week, but not in the areas predicted by WX Charts.

According to the cold wind coming in from Scandinavia “will be accompanied by some light rain and hill snow early next week, mainly in the south of the UK, before drier conditions become established later in the week.”
Despite the prediction of snowfall in southern Britain, WX Charts radar shows wintery flurries over a much larger area.
On February 11, the radar shows snowfall as far south as Devon. It also suggests snow over Southampton, London, large areas of the Midlands, as well heavy snowfall over Lancashire, Yorkshire, Northumberland, and a dusting over Scotland and Wales.

This evening and tonight:
Cloudy across much of England and Wales with showery outbreaks of rain, sleet and some hill snow, mainly in the west. Elsewhere, showers becoming a little more widespread overnight with a patchy frost forming under any prolonged clear breaks.
Saturday:
Showery outbreaks of rain, with some hill snow in places. Variable amounts of cloud, with skies breaking across the southeast later. Feeling rather cold for many.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Feeling cold with easterly winds continuing over the coming days. Often cloudy, with the best of any sunshine in the west. Outbreaks of rain, with some hill snow at times.
