BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was forced to give her guest a harsh warning as she prevented him from saying a “rude word” live on air.
On Friday’s programme (February 7), Naga and her co-host were back in the spotlight as they delivered the latest news headlines from the UK and across the globe.
During the show, former star Nigel Havers appeared on the famous red sofa to discuss his career highlights as well as his new tour.
However, before Nigel could divulge into the premise of his tour, Naga was quick to caution him, as the title of his new show includes a word that could land the programme in trouble.
Naga said, “You know what I’m most fascinated about? Obviously, we can’t say the name of your tour because it has a rude word.”

But as Nigel attempted to reply to Naga’s statement, she quickly cut him off. Putting an end to it, she shouted: “Don’t! Don’t!”
Reassuring her, Nigel replied: “No, I’m not going to, I would never say it! But I did check up on this word and someone said this word in the House of Commons a year ago or so and the speaker said, ‘wait a minute,’ and he checked and said, ‘it’s fine.'”
Naga agreed and said: “It’s fine! But we’re not going to on Breakfast telly.”
The actor concurred and then shared an appropriate way of saying by labelling it “talking nonsense”.
Nigel’s tour, Talking B*****ks, will be his first solo performance where he shares a number of hilarious stories with his audience.

Promoting the show, Nigel released a synopsis which read: “Well, here it is – my first ever solo show. Just me, a stage, and a lifetime of gloriously ridiculous stories to share. You’ll get the full Havers experience: charm, wit, and absolutely no running in slow motion.
“I’ll be taking you on a thoroughly entertaining trot through five decades in showbiz. From my early days as a fresh-faced drama school hopeful, to the highs and lows of a career that’s seen me in everything from Chariots of Fire and Empire of the Sun to Don’t Wait Up and some rather marvellous West End plays – and more than my fair share of Palladium Pantos.”
Nigel also promises to keep his fans guessing as he added: “Of course, there’ll be behind-the-scenes gossip, tales of triumph (and disaster), moments of sheer madness, and a fair bit of talking b****cks.”
Breakfast airs Mondays-Sundays from 6am on One.
