would ‘love’ for to launch a bid to bring Harry Kane back to the , according to reports. The Bayern Munich star is claimed to have a release clause that could soon see him return to England.
Kane remains only 48 goals away from Alan Shearer’s record of 260. Reports suggest that the England captain has not ruled out a return in an attempt to become the league’s leading scorer.
are said to have first refusal if Bayern ever consider selling Kane. The 31-year-old has excelled since his switch from north London in 2023, although there has been criticism in some quarters over his performances in Bayern’s biggest games this season.
This week, reports in Germany claimed that Kane has a release clause allowing him to return to England. This year, that stood at £64m, but by the summer of 2026 teams can pay just £54m to complete a deal.

According to , United co-owner Ratcliffe and his colleagues at INEOS would be keen for the Red Devils to sign Kane. However, it is claimed that INEOS will not force sporting decisions upon United.
Kane has been excellent for Bayern, scoring a staggering 55 goals in 50 appearances. He has struck 19 goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season and looks set to continue scoring well into his mid-30s.
The Spurs hero will be 33 by the time the release clause decreases to £54m but he could still have another couple of years at the top of his game. Kane has two more years remaining on his contract and it is unclear whether Bayern would even be tempted by a sale.

The Bundesliga leaders were persuaded to allow fellow forward Mathys Tel to join Spurs during the January transfer window. Kane’s former club have the option to buy the 19-year-old for £46m at the end of the season. Bayern therefore have faith that Kane will continue scoring for another couple of years.
