Before the NFL season wraps up in New Orleans on Super Bowl Sunday, the league will gather to hand out awards, including the Associated Press Most Valuable Player award, at the NFL Honors on Thursday, Feb. 6.
The award show, which will be held in New Orleans, will feature rapper and do-it-all entertainer Snoop Dogg as the host, as the NFL recognizes the most impactful players, plays and moments from the 2024 season.
Along with awards for on-field performances, the NFL Honors ceremony features the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award, which recognizes a player who made a significant positive impact off the football field, picked from a group of 32 nominees representing each NFL team.

What are the NFL Honors?
The NFL Honors is an award ceremony honoring the league’s best players, performances and plays from the 2024 season.
Besides the AP MVP award, the NFL Honors ceremony will include awards such as AP Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, AP Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year, AP Coach of the Year and more.

The finalists for the AP Most Valuable Player award are Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
