A family affair!
Molly Ringwald made a rare appearance with her 15-year-old son, Roman Stylianos Gianopoulos, at the Lingua Franca Fall RTW 2025 fashion show. The duo both walked the runway in very stylish ensembles.
For the Feb. 4, event, Ringwald wore a red-and-white striped dress with blue clogs and a cardigan.
Roman donned a trendy black T-shirt that said “The Bowery Hotel” on the front, a gray zip-up sweatshirt and a pair of embroidered brown shorts.
In an interview with Vogue, Rachelle Hruska, co-founder of Lingua Franca, shared how she put the whole fashion show together.
“Everyone walking in the show is a friend of mine,” she said. “I wanted my first runway to highlight the creative downtown New Yorkers who inspire me. I wanted it to feel eclectic but cohesive, a real reflection of the spirit of this city. But most importantly I wanted it to be fun.”
Ringwald has three children: Roman, his twin sister, Adele, and 21-year-old daughter Mathilda, with husband Panio Gianopoulos.
In August 2024, Ringwald shared a beautiful photo of her and Roman together at the Temple of Poseidon in Greece. The pair both looked like they were going for the coastal grandmother trend as they sported white shirts and shorts.
“Me and my beautiful boy who now will always make me look up,” Ringwald wrote in the caption, joking about her teen’s height.
