In one look, she donned a regal Dolce and Gabbana black military-inspired coat that retails at £3,750. The style note says that it conveys “a side of femininity that has nothing to do with being sexy. Melania instructed designers to tailor her outerwear to those who have worked with the likes of members of the Monarchy.
During the ceremony which saw millions tune in to see be sworn in as the 47th president, Melania wore a tailored coat by an American designer Adam Lippes.

The cut which fell just below the knee and cinched her in at the waist was very similar to the ensemble Kate wore at the Easter Sunday Church Service last year.
Meanwhile, Adam Lippes was the genius behind ’s Trooping the Colour outfit from the summer of 2017.
Melania’s carefully curated design cost over £5,000 and sparked a frenzy worldwide, with fans swooning over the masterpiece.
Taking to X formerly known as Twitter, one person penned: “She took my breath away how is it possible to look that good. Take a bow Mrs Trump.”

Her gown was designed by her loyal stylist Herve Pierre – which was the second time he created her a look for the prestigious event.
Pierre created the ethereal gown that she wore in 2017, to attend the inaugural ball with her husband Donald that marked the start of his first administration.
However, back in 2022, Kate looked stunning in a black and white off-shoulder gown by Roland Mouret at the London premiere of Top Gun.
Both of their dresses boasted an off-the-shoulder Bardot neckline, while the figure-hugging but flattering dress showed off their slender frames.
