A popular star shared with fans that he had fallen down stairs, while holding on to his “baby”. Jack P Shepherd, who is best known for playing cheeky chappy on the ITV cobbles, took to to reassure fans that he was “fine” after the accident.
The 37-year-old soap star looked worlds apart from his on-screen persona as he posted to his Stories wearing a fancy-looking LED face mask – clearly taking his skin care routine very serious.
In a snap, he had a hand full of mugs as his curly hair peaked over the top of the futuristic face mask. He wore a plain white t-shirt, finished off with a gold chain necklace.
Captioning the image, Jack wrote: “Just fell downstairs, carrying three cups of tea, face mask and baby.”
Explaining a bit more about what had happened, the ITV star shared a video as he spoke into the camera. He was still holding the mugs and his “baby”, the pet dog, as he shared: “We’re all ok. I didn’t drop anything.

“I had baby in my right hand, three cups in my left and it was the slipper. The slipper fell off and I went all the way down on my back.
“Kept everything, cups were in hand, didn’t spill anything or drop baby. It was like seeing that p***ed up guy fall on his back carrying a load of pints and he manages to keep them all up right. That was me! But we’re fine.”
Jack recently revealed, amid a number of cast cuts, that he doesn’t tend to keep in touch with his co-stars if they leave the cobbles. The admission came as he chatted to Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith and Nick Tilsley star Ben Price on their podcast, On The Sofa.
