contestant Chris Taylor has shared that he is battling ‘several minor injuries.’ This comes after the ITV show was thrown into chaos when his was forced to quit last week after suffering a ligament injury.
The star spoke to Joe Baggs on his YouTube podcast Not My Baggs, candidly confessing that he is spending a lot of time with his physio and that ‘a lot of minor injuries are cropping up.’
He said: “I have to go to the physio every week, which is nice – I get a bit of a massage. […] Sometimes I’m making it up and I’m not in pain. Sometimes I just want a bit of a break.”
Chris also continued: “My arm goes dead – not in a fun way or a good way, it just goes dead. During training, I can’t lift anymore, so they have to fix that, yeah. I’m holding it together – I’m basically held together by sellotape at the minute.”
The reality TV icon was also involved in a car pile-up after his first live show. He didn’t sustain any major injuries, but detailed that a car ‘drove into his right-hand side.’

Chris was partnered with Vanessa before she was forced to quit
Chris was initially partnered with Vanessa Bauer, but last week, he had to say a premature goodbye to the 28-year-old after she suffered a ligament injury during rehearsals.
She told her fans on social media: “I’m here today with rather upsetting news. I am unfortunately not going to be able to continue Dancing on Ice with Chris [Taylor]. That’s really upsetting for me.
“I have trained Chris since October last year and it is always such an achievement for myself to see someone else progress so much in a skill they’ve never done before.

“So it’s been really rewarding for me to watch this whole journey for Chris [and] the way he’s got better [every] week since October and also since the live shows started.”
She further explained, ” Unfortunately, I had a little accident backstage last week on Dancing on Ice just before the live show on Sunday.
“And I didn’t realise how bad it was then, but we did an MRI and it turned out that I have a completely torn ligament, grade three sprain injury and a major grade two sprain injury.”
The news comes after comedian Josh Jones was forced to withdraw from the competition last month after injuring his ankle.
