Britain’s Got Talent star announces baby news in touching pregnancy video reveal

A contestant has shared exciting news and announced she is expecting her first child.

Jade Kilduff, who won the hearts of the nation during her appearance on BGT in 2020, revealed that she and her fiancée Devon Booth are ready to welcome a baby this summer.

The 23-year-old singer took to to make the announcement, posting a touching black-and-white video to share the news with her followers.

At the start of the clip, the couple wrote, “We’ve been keeping a secret”. The video then showed them walking together before pausing for a loving embrace. Devon held up an ultrasound scan, making the big reveal.

Fans were quick to flood the pair with congratulatory messages. One follower wrote: “This gave me shivers! So happy for you both!” Another added: “Congratulations to you both! How exciting.” A third shared: “Amazing news congratulations guys xxx.”

Jade and Devon have celebrated many milestones in recent years. In 2023, Jade announced their engagement, sharing a romantic black-and-white video of Devon proposing on a picturesque beachside.

In her caption, Jade wrote, “02.08.23,” while Ryan Mack’s Forever and Ever and Always played in the background.

Jade’s mother Diana expressed her joy at the engagement, writing: “Congratulations beautiful girlies. Sobbing again. Proudest and happiest mum ever, I love you both so much.

“Your deep true love and your connection makes me smile every single day, Devon thanks for making my girl complete, you two really are made for each other. Love you x.”

Jade first got recognition on Britain’s Got Talent as part of Sign Along With Us, a 65-member singing and sign-language group that included her younger brother, Christian.

Christian was just four at the time. He has a Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) brain injury, cerebral palsy, and severe sight impairment.

The group left a lasting impact on the show, becoming golden buzzer act and eventually finishing as runners-up to singer Jon Courtenay.

Their moving audition performance of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman brought many to tears. Walliams was so touched by their story that he donated £10,000 to support Christian’s fundraising efforts for the NHS.
