Yellowstone enthusiasts are on the edge of their seats for the second season of the prequel 1923, which is set to return after a two-year break. Fans are desperate to discover if Spencer Dutton, portrayed by Brandon Sklenar, and his love interest Alex, played by Julia Schlaepfer, will find their way back to each other.
There’s also the burning question of whether Spencer can make it back to Montana in time to rescue his family and their treasured ranch. The upcoming season is slated to be the show’s last chapter, with Isabel May, the star of 1883, lending her voice as the narrator once more.
A gripping official trailer dropped in January, revealing Donald Whitfield, played by Timothy Dalton, and his grand designs for the Duttons’ ranch. Helen Mirren’s character Cara Dutton is shown grappling with the possibility of losing her husband’s legacy after Donald threatens that failure to settle land taxes could result in the ranch deed falling into his hands.
In the trailer, he shares his vision of transforming the ranch into an “playground for the elite”. With the Duttons’ adversaries viewing Spencer as a formidable obstacle, they are hell-bent on eliminating him and his kin.
A chilling scene in the trailer shows a body being hurled from a cliff, leading fans to speculate that this could be the origin story of the infamous Train Station from the original Yellowstone series.
The Dutton ranch comes under threat
One fan speculated on : “Did we just see the origins of the TRAIN STATION.”
Another chimed in asking: “Did we see a glimpse of the train station?”
However, the theory is cast into doubt as the next scene in the trailer features Banner Creighton, played by Jerome Flynn, suggesting he may have been involved in the grim act.
Enthusiasts of the hit series Yellowstone are buzzing with theories, as the Dutton family’s foes remain ignorant of the infamous ‘Train Station’ and its whereabouts.
