took to social media and revealed he had forgotten an important milestone for the couple.
The Spanish-born dancer, 34, met , 40, in 2017 while working together on . The on-screen stars announced their engagement four years ago and welcomed daughter Mia in 2019 and son Thiago in 2023.
Taking to on Wednesday (February 5), the professional dancer apologised to his partner after the Strictly star admitted he forgot it was their seventh anniversary today.
He told his 974,000 followers: “I shouldn’t be saying this because it’s going to make me look so bad, but today is our anniversary, seven years. It feels like it was yesterday, but guess what? I forgot.
“I didn’t even remember it.”

Gorka and Gemma were enjoying a stroll with their young children as he divulged further details.
“We never do anything for our anniversary,” he explained. “This morning I was making breakfast for the kids, [Gemma] was also making breakfast. She came downstairs and I thought she was getting ready.”
Gorka corrected: “To be honest, I was making her breakfast. At least I did something. She came down and went ,’there you go.’
“I said, ‘what’s that?’ She said, ‘it’s for you.'”

Gemma confirmed it was their anniversary as a perplexed Gorka was stunned into silence.
He mumbled: “For f***s sake! I forgot it. She got me an anniversary card but I did make her breakfast. I’m sure many of you can relate to this – especially men who forgets their anniversary or forgets the day.
“I don’t know, I just think every day should be an anniversary day. Sorry Gemma – she knows I love her.”
Gorka’s admission comes after Gemma took to her own Stories and revealed her beau will be leaving their family home for several weeks.
While reorganising their abode the former actress told her social media followers, “Gorka goes away again at the weekend”.
She continued: “He’s away for a long time, well into the spring. So I just need to get organised because I want the house and everything done.”
Gorka popped the all-important question on Valentine’s Day in 2021. The duo announced their engagement on with a charming snapshot showing off Gemma’s sparkling ring.
