Netflix subscribers who are fans of competitive shows like Squid Game will be thrilled to learn that the new series Celebrity Bear Hunt is now available for streaming on the platform from today (February 5).
I had the privilege of attending the grand premiere at Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, London last night (February 4), where the famous participants finally got a chance to clean up after spending 18 gruelling days filming in the Costa Rican jungle.
As we were guided into the venue for the screening of the first episode, celebrities including Mel B (the real Scary Spice), The Saturdays’ Una Healey and The Inbetweeners’ Joe Thomas joined us.
Bear Grylls, the man of the hour, and host Holly Willoughby were also present as the lights dimmed and the show commenced.
The unique aspect of this show is its ability to make you laugh one moment and have you on tenterhooks the next as you watch the celebrities tackle hair-raising challenges, reports .

In the inaugural episode, the 12 celebrities were divided into two teams and given the task of navigating their way out of the desert using one of three modes of transport.
However, Bear was hiding in the bushes, ready to hunt them down at every opportunity.
Without revealing too much for those who haven’t yet tuned in on , four celebrities were caught by Bear and whisked away.
However, before we could find out who was going to be caught, the first episode ended on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience gasping in anticipation.

As the lights came up, the cast and crew were greeted with a roaring applause, indicating that viewers are in for a thrilling ride.
The standout character among the cast is undoubtedly chef and rapper Big Zuu, who had me and the rest of the guests howling with laughter at his witty one-liners.
His larger-than-life personality had the crowd in stitches, especially when he broke his bed just hours into moving into their new residence.
