Netflix staff are said to have become irritated by the amount of money being spent on and despite their projects attracting disappointing ratings and poor reviews.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex struck a whopping £80 million deal with after leaving the UK in 2020. They have since released four projects on the streamer, with the latest, With Love, Meghan, to launch on March 4.
Their first project, Harry and Meghan, holds the record for the biggest debut for a documentary. However, their subsequent projects have not seen the same success.
’s Polo failed to make ‘s top 10 list when it was released in December 2024, and critics widely branded it “dull”.
The couple’s 2023 offering, Heart of Invictus, was received more positively thanks to its moving content but also had disappointing viewing figures. According to reports, it was watched just 300,000 times between its August debut and the end of the year.

workers are now calling on bosses to “cut their losses” and stop working with the royal couple when their contract ends this year.
A source told us: “Workers at are not happy with how much money has been thrown at Harry and Meghan.
“It’s nothing personal against the Royals, but pound for pound, they have been a poor investment. Yes, their first series, Harry and Meghan, was the most streamed factual show in the history of , but it was also the most expensive ever.
“If this were any other normal TV star, would simply cut their losses and stop working with them, but it is as if the powers that be are trying to save face and don’t want to publicly admit a financial failure.”

It comes after , adding that the streamer remains “excited” about their future projects.
Bela Bajaria told the Daily Mail: “We have Meghan’s new show coming out, which is great.
“It is such a great take on a lifestyle show and showcase for California, Montecito and nature.

“It really has great takeaways. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I want to really do that pasta.’ There’s really easy great takeaways on life. I am really excited about that coming out.”
Ms Bajaria also confirmed that Meet Me at the Lake is still in development and “are happy to do it”.
She said: “It is in development. It is a great book, she had it and we are happy to do it. And we have things in development. Everyone is excited about what is coming. I am really excited for her show.”
