Mathys Tel joins Tottenham on loan from Bayern Munich
Mathys Tel could leave chiefs red in the face – because his debut is expected to come against the Red Devils themselves a week on Sunday.

He scored 10 times in 41 appearances last season under Thomas Tuchel but has played on 14 occasions without finding the back of the net this term.
The north Londoners will hope he scores more freely for them to help arrest their recent slide. And given United essentially rejected the teenager attacker, he could make them look silly on February 16 when the two teams face off.
Spurs host United at the Stadium in a 4.30pm kick-off and the match will offer Tel the opportunity to make his debut in England’s top flight. He would love to endear himself to his new club with a decisive goal.

With Antony and Rashford joining Jadon Sancho () in being away on loan, United have only four out-and-out forwards for the rest of the campaign – , Joshua Zirkzee, Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Hojlund and Zirkzee have 11 goals between them this season but neither centre-forward has scored since December 19. Garnacho has also yet to find the net since November.
